Wetaskiwin Community Information

A beautiful fall in Wetaskiwin

With more than 12,500 people calling this community home, there is a buzz and bustle to this city that has more to do with the general economic prosperity of the region than it does to do with the auto mile that made the ‘cars cost less’ slogan famous in the area.  The city is home to the Reynolds-Alberta Museum and nearby the Alberta Central Railway Museum as well as Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame.  This city appreciates where it came from and has an eye on where it’s going.  About 70 kilometres south of Edmonton, there are a large number of residents who like the size and pace of this prairie community and use it as a home base to commute to Leduc, Nisku, the Edmonton International Airport and even Edmonton itself.  For those who don’t want to commute, there is plenty of opportunity right in Wetaskiwin itself.

Bigger than the small towns, smaller than the big cities – this might just be the right fit for you.
