Just 25 minutes southwest of Edmonton, this bustling small Alberta town is home to around 2,000 citizens. People who put down roots in Calmar are making a strategic choice to put small town values and lifestyle at the forefront, while still having nearby access to the nearby city of Leduc and, just a few minutes further up the highway, big city Edmonton. Surrounded by the prairies, this community has seen recent growth and new developments come in to accommodate the folks wanting to get just a little ways away from the big city.
Getting away to a smaller town doesn’t mean giving up on the necessities though, as there is a full complement of stores and services right on main street.
