Welcome to Leduc County – peaceful living in the heart of Alberta.
Leduc County Community Information
Leduc County is a municipal district and geographic area just south of Edmonton that encompasses just over 2,600 square kilometres and is home to some 13,500 people as of the 2011 census. The county itself is where the Edmonton International Airport, Nisku Industrial Park and Genessee Power Plant are technically located, giving the county a decent tax base from those large taxpayers. In addition to the city of Leduc, the towns of Beaumont, Calmar and Devon there are about another 60 communities/localities in the county. Many of these are acreage estate developments where a big home on a big piece of land is the status quo. If you are looking for your own little slice of country lifestyle without sacrificing employment opportunities or access to big city amenities, you owe it to yourself to look around this county.
